What is an Advent calendar?

An Advent Calendar is traditionally a Christmas-themed scene made of cardboard. It features little paper windows, with one window to open each day of Advent. Behind each window, a new Christmas scene is revealed, allowing users to count down the days until Christmas. Our digital Advent Calendar, however, takes the excitement to new heights by bringing the main scene and daily surprises to life through music and animation!

Strictly speaking, Advent commences on the fourth Sunday before Christmas and concludes on Christmas Eve. However, most modern Advent Calendars, including ours, begin the Christmas countdown on December 1st. Additionally, in a departure from tradition, our Advent Calendar also includes Christmas Day itself!
